New rule by NBE for CET and NEET will keep fake registrations in check

The new criteria introduced by NBE for appearing in DNB CET and NEET will keep the fake medical students and dummy candidates from appearing in these entrance exams.

Few days ago NBE announced on both the websites of cet and neet that for appearing in entrance exam, students will have to produce the MCI/SMC registration certificates in original and photocopy to the exam centre. This in my opinion is a good move, as registration certificate can only be possed by medical graduates in India. This will make MBA, and Engineering students from appearing in exam for different reasons more difficult.

Recalling the highly publicized cheating scan in AIPGMEE 2012 when some MBA and other non medical people registered themselves as PG aspirants for the purpose of cheating and leaking the paper out. There are many other reasons also why non medical people enter the examination to fulfill purposes other than acquiring PG seat. This move by NBE will bring a halt on such incidences.
