The Govt. of Karnataka has decided to hold the PG medical entrance test 2012 for admission to post-graduate medical courses only in the city in view of the examination scam at a centre in Bellary in 2011

Conducting online examination for PG medical on an experimental basis is also being considered, informs Karnataka Medical Education Minister S A Ramadass

The entire examination process, right from the receipt of question paper to the packing of the answer sheets would be covered by CCTV, adding, key answers would be made known only after the scanning of "OMR" sheets is completed.

Use of mobile phones and other electronic gadgets even by the examination staff would be prohibited

Delhi Police today claimed to have smashed a racket involving leak of post graduate medical entrance papers using bluetooth technology with the arrest of five youths, including a doctor and an MBBS student.
