Main accused in medical exam scam lied to mislead us: Police The Key accused in the All India PG Medical Entrance Examination scam, Mohit Choudhury has reportedly told police that he lied about pursuing MBBS from a medical college in Ujjain in an attempt to mislead the investigation. According to police, he was pursuing his course from a college in Indore. “Choudhury initially told us that he was pursuing his MBBS course from a medical college in Ujjain. However, it turned out that he was lying all this while, as he was a second-year student from a medical college in Indore. Hurry - Apply for councelling of DNB CET - last date 16th Jan 2012

Candidates who have appeared for DNB CET DEC 2011 and have qualified the exam must apply online to appear in the councelling. Last date is 16 jan 2012. So hurry up.... Candidates who have qualified the aforesaid examination and are desirous of participating in Jan 2012 counseling shall have to register online for the same latest by Jan 16 th , 2012 (18:00 Hrs) . Candidates who have qualified CET of June 2010 session are also eligible to participate in Jan 2012 counseling provided that they have not joined/opted any DNB seat based on CET Pass result of June 2010 session. Merit list of eligible candidates who have registered online for counseling shall be published on NBE website after the online registration process is completed. Eligible candidates will be able to download their Rank letter for counseling only after publication of merit list. AIPGMEE EXAM PAPER LEAK RACKET - MORE UPDATES

Delhi Police today claimed to have smashed a racket involving leak of post graduate medical entrance papers using bluetooth technology with the arrest of five youths, including a doctor and an MBBS student. The gang, which charged Rs 25-35 lakh from aspirants, allegedly used a sophisticated software to email images of the question paper taken by two MBAs, posing as PG aspirants, using mobile phones and bluetooth concealed in their shirts. The racket was smashed yesterday while the entrance test conducted by AIIMS for filling 50 per cent of PG seats in government medical colleges across the counrty was going on at 156 centres. It all started with the arrest of a second year MBBS student in an Ujjain medical college Mohit Chaudhury (23), who, police claim, is the mastermind of the racket, from Pragati Maidan yesterday morning on a tip-off.
