Do you think there will be re exam for AIPGMEE 2012

After 2 days of the most shocking smash of exam paper leak racket, there is much anger among hard working medical student community.. specially those students who were preparing for second or third time..
We all know PGMEEs have become the most tough and competitive exam in India...
And this years (2012) AIPGMEE was one of the toughest...

Now every body has these questions in mind..
  1. What will happen to our future?
  2. Can government not stop such dirty practices?
  3. Is it impossible for a meddle class syudent to get a PG seat?
  4. what are the steps authorities taking after the bust of this racket to protect the interest of innocent and hard working students?
  5. Is giving the culprits some few months punishment will solve the problems of half a lakh innocent students?

Nobody has the answers to these questions and all are waiting for responsible authorities to come up with the answers.

Though of re-exam is surging among the students community but do you think AIIMS will be ready for the re-exam.. Lets see the situation this way...
According to police report the gang was arrested before they were able to communicate with the students who involved in this racket, so according to this report (if it is 100% true) the answers were not sent to any student and so nobody was benefited by this racket, so AIIMS has a good explanation for not conducting exam again.

Read this police statement

Chaudhury allegedly downloaded the images with the help of Bhishma Singh, Chand said, adding, he was on way to meeting his associates to solve the paper when he was apprehended by the police at Pragati Maidan.

Even if there is re exam, is the future of hardworking students safe?? there must be many other such active and hidden gangs... Scarcity of PG seats in comparison to MBBS seats and desperation of all medical students to enter into PG courses have encouraged many such gangs to creep up to make fast money from such students who are willing to go to any extent whether right or wrong to grab a PG seat....

The move is to meet the shortage of PG teachers, said a senior official in the Union Health Ministry. A decision in this regard was taken recently at a meeting of the Board of Governors of the MCI which is an autonomous body under the Health Ministry to regulate the medical education standard in the country. The official explained, “The existing regulations provides that a medical teacher can become postgraduate teacher after eight years of teaching experience out of which five years should be as Assistant Professor.
