Andhra Pradesh seeks more time for NEET

The state government on Monday once again sought exemption from the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Neet) for admission into MBBS and BDS colleges.

In a letter to Union health minister Ghulam Nabi Azad on Monday, chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy requested that the Centre give time to the state’s students till 2014 to join Neet.......

Centre to states: NEET CET mandatory

The common entrance test for post-graduate (PG) medical students is mandatory for all government and private colleges. Making it clear to the state governments, the Union health ministry has written to them informing that the new test system has been notified and they will have to adhere to it..........
